Based on the latest guidance a cold and stormy pattern begins to setup Friday, January 18th through the end of the month.  The next weather maker is expected to start over the Western US later this week and then this system will track toward the central and eastern US.  Too early to get into specifics, but the risk for winter weather is going up.

Best advice is to plan accordingly and don’t get caught out in it.
