What they’re saying about Tropical Storm Isaac

The big talk today is a significant tropical weather hazard threat to Florda and the Gulf Coast states.  Isaac is approaching the southern portion of Florida.  Heavy rain and severe weather, including tornadoes likely today.  Once Isaac passes Florida and enters the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico, it will strengthen into a hurricane, possibly a category 3.

VERY IMPORTANT WEEK AHEAD

This next week will be extremely important in terms of the impact that Isaac will have on the people of the central Gulf Coast. It seems that I have been in this position before, writing about a possible awful hurricane event coming up for the exact same areas. Indeed, history tends to repeat itself and I hope that what ever happens, that lessons were learned from prior events that will help with the outcome of this one. That is to say, if it even comes to that. Here’s the issue….
